Itinerary

Fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and drive to Gangtok, 1666m  (5hrs drive). Transfer to hotel Himalayan Heights.

Sightseeing in Gangtok: Hanuman Tok, Bulbuley Nature Park, Tsangu Lake, Enchey Monastery and the Cottage Industry.

Sightseeing in Gangtok: Do Drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Rumtek Monastery and Zumrang Kagud Monastery.

Drive to Namchi in south Sikkim via Temi Tea Garden. Visit the organic tea gardens. Visit Samduptse with the highest Buddha statue in the world from Guru Padma Sambhava. Lunch at Namchiand. En route visit the Bon Monastery. Drive to Pelling and overnight at the

Pelling sightseeing: Pemayangtse Monastery, built in the 17th century and the Rabdentse Ruins of the old palace.

Morning mountain view of Mt. Pandim and Mt. Kanchanjunga, drive and visit Khecheopalri Lake (sacred lake). Take lunch at a local house and drive to Yuksom, the first capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim. Overnight at the hotel.

Drive to Tashiding where Sikkim's most sacred monastery built in 1716, perched atop a conical hill. Visit the monastery and drive to Ravongla. Overnight at the hotel.

At Ravongla visit Mani Chokarling Monastery and the Kheunpheling Carpet Center. Have lunch and drive to Gangtok. Overnight at hotel Himalayan Heights.

Rest day in Gangtok.

Drive to Bhadrapur and fly back to Kathmandu
